Rex Ryan is not expected to be back with the Buffalo Bills next season, according to a report.
Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports said Sunday that it would take an ?overwhelming performance? down the stretch for Ryan to keep his job. In fact, La Canfora reports that Ryan could be fired as early as Monday depending on how his team looks against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday.
Ryan is said to have a ?rocky? relationship with the Bills front office, and team executives feel the coach has underachieved with the talent he has on his roster. Because of that strained relationship, the belief is that the Bills would have to come close to winning all of their remaining games for Ryan to keep his job. One source told La Canfora he is ?95 percent sure Rex is gone by the end of the season.?

In addition to Ryan, the Bills are said to be evaluating quarterback Tyrod Taylor. If Taylor is still on the roster come March 11, he will be owed $31 million in guaranteed money. The Bills are leaning toward not picking up Taylor?s option.

The Bills are 6-6 this season after finishing 8-8 and missing the playoffs last year. Perhaps Ryan?s bosses are getting tired of him making headlines more for zingers like this than for winning games.

this is very confusing. they brought him in to turn the bills into one of the most poorly-coached teams in the league. he has delivered.

i had to laugh when i saw them running plays from inside their own 10 with about 20 seconds left in the first half. in a snow storm. that might have been when they finalized their decision to fire him.

It's the Rams...nobody really cares.

LA residents are already planning on beach time and roller skating.
