judy woodruff(this old bitch should be forced to move to iraq) just reported that the u.s. special forces has several hit teams inside baghdad trying to assasinate top level iraqi officials....god,don`t these assholes realize that cnn is being monitored by the iraqi`s?.....that this kind of reporting puts our troops in grave danger?......then an imbedded reporter broadcasts that we are running out of parts for our vehicles and that they are having to cannibalize other vehicles and abandon them......f-ck these damned reporters....i don`t need to know this stuff....it`s great stuff for saddam to know....cnn blows....rich,liberal f-cks...

gardenweasel,

Did you see when the one reporter was complaining that they are not given enough info and whatnot then all the other reporters started applausing? I got in late last nite when I saw it and am at work now so maybe there was something more to it and when I get home I will watch it again. But that was just so upsetting to see. They act as if they should be briefed every morning on progress and startegy the same way the president is. Then if there is info that should not be made public, something that may endanger soldiers lives or something like you mentioned about snipers (I.E. something we don't want Iraq to know) they would have no problem taking it public. Again I hope there was more to it than that but if they all were truly upset that they were not recieving enough info that was pretty upsetting to see.

these reporters actually believe they are more important than the war.....the mentality and arrogance of these elitist academics is stupifying.......you`d think they were all french ;) .......if we could figure out a way to embed reporters into the iraqi military, this war would be over in 2 weeks....it`s like fighting 2 enemies.....sheesh....

Garden,

This story about the "hit teams" was broke by a reporter from the Washington Post. The reporter said she got that info from an inside source.....and then ran it by the DOD to give them "every opportunity to talk her out of using the story."

Obviously something that our military didnt mind releasing.....probably to create more paranoia in Iraqi ranks.

Have to completely agree about Judy Woodruff though. Theres more plastic in her face than a DuPont factory.

yeah...i saw the woman reporter on with woodruff.....maybe it`s a plant story and they are trying to create some unease inside the iraqi hierarchy..i`m not sure what other purpose releasing such a story would serve......good point....

btw....try and focus on woodruff`s face as she reads a positive or negative story regarding the war effort......the expressions speak volumes.....it hurts to see americans react in this way.....battling from without and from within....with american lives hanging in the balance.....

I know....I usually end up swithing to FOX when I see her immediately.

One things for sure.....the Pentagon is monitoring CNN and FOX extremely tight. Some embedded reporter/dumbass from a Christian independant news agency gave a report on CNN just a few days ago. Cant remember the unit of Marines he was with......but the guy gives the damn units exact location and a few other senstitive details.....live....right on the air. Within about 6 hours officials at the Pentagon had this guy cathing the first camel home.

well it looks like today the reporters are all saying because they see soldiers replenishing ammuniton and supplies and not moving that means the progress to baghdad is slowing down. I guess they figure the soldiers should be constantly on the move and if they are not that means progress has slowed considerably. I really believe these reporters seem to think the only way this is a successful war is if we had no fatalities of our own, no POW's, and have not killed any Iraqi civilians. Based on the reports I have seen/read I believe the troops are making great progress.

And you are right about fighting 2 enemies as the pentagon officials and the military spokespeople are obviously getting tired of answering stupid questions. Reporters certainly have the right to inquire and get their story. But listening to some of these ridiculous questions and their own assumptions is pretty sad.

Watching White House and Pentagon Media Briefings.......you sure can pick out the reporters that are for the invasion.....and the one's that are against it can't you? There are a few reporters that I watch every time Ari Fleischer takes the podium...and I'd like to take each of em by the throat.
