This time with fake healthcare websites.
Obamacare has been a huge success in California. So much so that Republicans determined to sabotage the law created a fake website designed to deceive people trying to sign up for coverage.
The real ACA Obamacare website is called CoveredCa.com. The fake Republican site is called CoveringHealthCareCa.com and is being touted as a ?resource guide.?
However, at the side of the page, there are links that lead to false or misleading information about the law. In fact, the "official looking" site is filled with inaccuracies. At the bottom of the page in very small print, a disclaimer that says the creator of the site is the ?Assembly Republican Caucus.?
And this is not the only Republican health insurance sabotage website in California. State Attorney Gen. Kamala Harris has ordered 10 more fake Republican ACA site to be shut down.
So far, California has been the most successful state in the country in signing people up for Obamacare, which may explain why it has been targeted by Republicans.
?If nothing else, California is buoying the nation's Obamacare enrollment numbers. It outpaced the 36 states using HealthCare.gov all on its own in October and has picked up the pace with nearly 80,000 enrollees as of Nov. 19,? according to TPM.
The last thing anti-Obamacare Republicans want is for more Americans to have affordable health insurance. That would mean the law is a success.
And, no they're not supplying any K-Y.
