My pick for todays HUB GAME - Minnesota -5...
The theory....
Last year I was 8-1 [weeks] using this method, which is not for the faint of heart.
Theory = find a good game that will be an outright winner and tease that game with every other game on the board.
If half of the games are close games, you are guaranteed a profit. Last week all but three games were NOT "close". So you would have only one winner in those 3 games...
The remaining 12 games were close, so you had 24 winners in those games, giving you a 27-3 record for the week. My Hub last week was New Orleans at home, although I neither posted or had tome to place all the bets.
If perchance, that all the games are blow-outs, you still are .500 and will lose the juice. So study the match-ups carefully, and if there appears to be a game where a blow out seems probable - like Zone at Atlanta today, skip that game, or take the stronger team...
I will pick about 15 games with this today, which I dont have time to post..
Of course, the down side is if you lose the HUB, you are screwed. I am toying with the numbers of the logical sequence, which would be to tease BOTH SIDES of the hub, giving you 2 hubs, and then you could only lose one hub, worst case scenario...handle with care...
