Is it just me or doesn't it seem like this year the damn review is just getting way out of hand, Pitt being just the latest. Sports have an interest in keeping people watching, and we all know gamblers watch, but this "wink,wink" we dont want gambling in our game has got o stop. I propose legalize nationwide gambling at all these casinos popping up get rid of replay and let the games begin. JMHO

Replay is definately the cause of all of this controversy. Definitely. Without it, human on the spot decision making is all we got. Doing replays slows the game to a crawl and as we all see time after time. that when there is a replay the refs still will agree with their original call even with video evidence contradicting it! So, bottom line is, if a ref wants it to go one way, it probably will stay that way. Video or not. Saw two instances in two games, where everyone but the shot caller knew the shot caller was wrong.
I think college football has it best. In the NFL or any other sport, when you have the on field official making the decision you still leave it prone to that ref not wanting to make himself or his other officials look bad.

Human nature in making calls adds to the life of the game. I hate it when a play goes and just before the snap.....whistle ....play under review. No flag, many times no reason I see to get involved. Oh well, it's all we have so I guess we learn to live with it!
