The Cavaliers shoots around 4% better from the floor than Louisville. In addition they are the #1 defensive team in the entire country for points allowed. They have played a ridiculously difficult schedule. That makes it's defensive accomplishment even more an impressive feat. Tempo helps, yes, but it is, also, near the top in defensive efficiency which allots for tempo.

I?m still with Maryland until the books change it's line approach to Maryland. Maryland has produced money all season long so until it's lines change substantially I am all in on Maryland. I will take coach Melo and his talented frosh in a win on the road.

Oklahoma State has done nothing in the last three weeks to merit fading them but tonight is more about Baylor. Baylor has lost on the road twice but both were against potential #1 or #2 seeds in the NCAA Tournament. They also own road wins over Kansas State, Oklahoma. and TCU all by comfortable margins. I am on Baylor and the points.

I see a close and tense game here. If there was no spread, I would probably go UCLA. But with five points, that makes Oregon the better value while both teams are winning games and looking like Top 10 teams.

Gonzaga is 25-0 while breezing through it's conference. They have been pushed, though. Arizona, Iowa State and Florida were close and neither Arizona or Florida were even close to the teams it is now. I look for an intense game and I?ll take the home team, St Marys, and the points.

The first game between these two teams went W. Virginia's way but the final score did not tell the whole story. With six minutes to go Kansas took the lead several times in the second half before losing in the final three minutes. I do not see that happening tonight. I know there has been some issues (drama)with Kansas off the court but I think Kansas will keep it together the rest of the season.

Wake Forest is 2-7 this season as an underdog. Clemson has won 8 of 10 in this rivalry. Both teams are on the tournament bubble. The winner is still alive for the tournament while the loser is probably done. This should be a hard-fought game. Clemson finally gets to play a team on their own court who isn?t a projected Tournament team. Every loss at home this season has come against a team currently in the Field of 68

When Watson went down Creighton went from being a top 10 team (not in my book, though) to a top 20 team. Therefore, losing Watson is not having the huge negative effect on Creighton as I first thought. Tonight I like Creighton covering the spread with a little room to spare. After all, Creighton is 7-1 ATS on the road this season.
