Ok let's start chatting about this game and get the right side on this one.

Starters are Humber for Rice and Romanczyk for Stanford. Humber wasn't too sharp in last outing, while he did strike out 8, he hit like 4 batters and only went 3 2/3. Both Pitchers are young, Frosh and Soph, so they will be nervous.

I like Rice, but just worried Humber will get off to a bad start, but think coach will have a short leash since this is the last game, and Rice hasn't used bullpen that much.

On the other side Stanford has some momentum, they weren't picked to be here, and even when they got to champ series everyone one said, Rice has rotation set up they are going to win. I believe Stanford is out to prove eveyone wrong and that, with the fact the won yesterday, is giving them the extra motviation.

Right now on the fence with a slight lean to Rice. Any other thoughts on the game?

Humber is a winner.

I expected him to be the ACE of this staff in the preseason.

This kid will get it done in a big way tonight.

RICE -120 600/500 :Yep:

Humber is a good pitcher and he showed that by battling back after hitting 3 batters, but he's going to have a short leash tonight, so if he gets off to a good start, I think Rice will win. If they have to go to the bullpen early that could hurt the team.

Like the dawg in this one. Stanford beat the best team in the CWS when they beat CSF two games in a row,in my opinion. So why shouldnt' they beat Rice today? They have the mental mood that they can beat anyone. In fact they should have beaten Rice the first game they played them Saturday, if they had not made a bone head error. GL

i'm seriously thinking about laying off this one tonight. i am pulling for rice, and as you know that is not very advisable for a gambler. may just leave my money in my pocket & root for rice- unless i see something that really changes my mind. it's a toss up to me at this point.
