RIP Ray ! 74 yrs old , as stated in his bio compared to the other members he looked out of place.

The Doors are much, much under appreciated. Just listen to the music of this era. They were crafting songs that were complex, so different than any other band and those songs still hold up today.
It's hard to know who really drove their creative direction but, all members deserve credit for the song writing, the risks and the music.
