I was completely jinxed this weekend, Vandy gives up a TD with 30 seconds left, Indiana cant score on four tries from the one, Oklahoma allows Nebraska to drive the length of the field for a meaningless fg and then today I have the Lions catching 3.5 the game goes OT so I figure it's a winner but hell no they give up a TD. Well things can only get better this week! Post them up guys if you see any lines that look tasty for this week!

Master Capper I agree with you 100% about Michigan. Do you think the line will go up or down on MIchigan? Bet now or wait?

I would really be surprised if that line holds at 3.5, Wolverines are playing for the Rose Bowl whereas the Buckeyes are playing for the SUn Bowl. I have watched nearly every OSU game this year and I do not see how they will move the ball on Michigan as the offense is terrible. The only concern I have is that both the QB and RB for Mich are Frosh.

i have to agree. im as anti-osu as they come, but this one just screams upset, especially with henne getting his first taste of osu/michigan in the shoe. if tressel is as good as i think he is, michigan wont get out of columbus with a win. theres no denying michigan is the better team. but that means nothing here.

While I will agree with you that anything can happen in a rivalry game, I don't see what your seeing in the Buckeyes? This team is by far the worst team that Tressel has put on the field during his tenure in Columbus and I think this team is going to be down for the next few years. The offensive line is below average, the QB situation is a mess and they do not have a dependable RB. On the positive side they have a above average Linebacker Corps and above average secondary but the defensive line is way below par. There is no doubt Nugent is one of the best kickers in the country and the punting game is solid. I just cannot see the Buckeyes staying in this game without turnovers and points on special teams which is not a given in any game.

I could be totally wrong but whom do you foresee scoring for OSU? I may very well lose this play but the talent level between the two teams is quite different and while I respect Tressel, a coach can only coach the talent that he has on hand ask Joe Gibbs!

even in the loss to purdue, you could at least see that the buckeye playcalling was a lot more aggressive. theyre obviously doing everything they can to design plays for ginn. but they also seem to be doing a better job getting holmes involved (reverses, screens, etc). their offense is by no means 'good'. but it has at least shown signs of life with smith in there. and i dont necessarily think smith is all that great, its just the players around him play harder for him than they did zwick.

i also dont think this is tressel's worst team by any stretch. if anything, this is one of his MORE talented teams. the bottom line is that ohio state just hasnt gotten all the lucky breaks that they got during their two-season run where they won like 18 straight or whatever. the field-position, punt-em-deep-and-play-defense gameplan was fine when osu was winning, but it was obvious it was only a matter of time before it caught up with them. it did in a big way. now osu is starting to open up the O a little more because they realized they cant pound the ball on anyone, because their backfield sucks.

all in all, i dont think either team will ever lead this game by more than 7 points, thus making it difficult to ever shut the door on the dog.

Ohio State has lost I believe it is 7 games in 6 years at home. And I believe 8 games in 8 years. We have been a home underdog ONCE in those 8 years. Granted we lost that game to Illinois in 2001, but you get my drift. And yea....Ohio State is not very good this year. We have troubles making tackles, and they turn the ball over too many times to execute the gameplan.

BUT, if you notice, we do have playmakers, and when we need to put points on the board, believe it or not, Ohio State can do it. The second half of the Purdue game should prove my point. Ohio State managed to tie the game DESPITE FOUR turnovers....2 in the red zone!!!

If you havent noticed...Michigan has been VERY vulnerable and may be given too much credit at this point in the season. Remember...this is a team that LOST to Notre Dame, barely beat San Diego State, was down to Illinois midway through the 3rd quarter to pull away late, had to comeback late against Minnesota to win by 3, made a late field goal to squeek by Purdue, and went to 3 OT's to finally beat Michigan State. Yea, they are getting the job done, but EVERY road game has been a struggle.

You will have that when you have a true freshman quarterback. And a true freshman running back.

And while I read the comment that we are playing for the Alamo Bowl and Michigan playing for the Rose Bowl.........that is true, and basically proves my point. THIS is our Bowl Game......screw El Paso or detroit, or wherever they send us. WE WANT TO RUIN MICHIGANS SEASON, and I this is Michigans toughest road assignment to date. They havent handled the other 4 very well......how are they gonna handle this one???

I like Michigan, too. Missed the 3.5, but I got it at 4. I really think you'll be able to buy back on this one at 7 later this week if you feel the need.

Also like Wisky and Indiana.
