"giuliani has the support of 30% of “Republicans and Republican leaners,” vs. 28% a month ago; Thompson comes in with 20%, vs. 19% in June; McCain has 16%, vs. 18% a month earlier.

Former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney remains in fourth, at 9% vs. 7% in June.

The current numbers for the rest of the Republicans included in the survey: Former House speaker Newt Gingrich, 6%; former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee, 2%; Rep. Duncan Hunter, 2%; Rep. Tom Tancredo, 2%; Sen. Sam Brownback, 1%; Sen. Chuck Hagel, 1%; former Wisconsin governor Tommy Thompson, 1%.

Has anyone here ever been polled by a recognized poll taker?

They rarely list quantities and make up of pre-chosen polled parties (say that fast 3 times)

I do not see a thousand people polled as representing hundreds of millions...


Wease, for all you know they polled the republican page break room...:shrug:

Weasel help me here. Here is a guy who is against big govt, abortion, gun control, raising taxes, bad trade deals, amnesty, and bunch of other stuff you support except one thing and its this idiotic war. An idiotic war that day by day a Republican is realizing its time to cut and leave. Right now this fellow has my vote. Despite your side kick DTB accusing me of reading liberal blogs or listening to the "liberal media" I find this guy appealing yet you are day by day trying to make a mockery of him when he supports 99 percent of your platforms. This really is insanity bro. What's the reason?

Weasel my question again and im really asking you this because i don't understand the thought process here. Why is it that this guy supports 99 percent of the things you like but you treat him as some kind of dirty liberal and i actually think if he was the Republican nomination and Liberman was the Dem nomination you would vote for Liberman. A guy who only supports 1 percent of your opinions:shrug: What gives here seriously.

first off,spongy,he`s a tin foil hat wearing moron......anybody that wants to run for president of the u.s.a. and actually believes that the government was involved in 9/11,loses all credibility.....

i`ll say this for the guy...he has the most zealous group of internet spammers i`ve ever come across....try and find anything other than a glowing article on the guy on google....it`s almost impossible unleass you skim past the first 50 to 100 source pages....

his "fans"(as scarily obsessed as the jihadis)have worked to bring forward all positive articles on google by constantly hitting on the positive stuff....you can usually find a negative article somewhere....not with this guy...and that`s scary....they`re trying to spam their way to the presidency....fortunately,that ain`t happening...

as the usa today/gallup poll indicates,he`s irrelevant....apparently they couldn`t figure out how to spam this poll.....

he`s an extremist.....silly...unrealistic....
