Royals? flight to Detroit interrupted by pressure problem.
A chartered jet that flew the Kansas City Royals to Detroit on Wednesday night returned briefly to Kansas City International Airport when the aircraft experienced pressure problems.
Joe McBride, airport spokesman, said the Midwest Airlines flight left at 8:10 p.m., but about 8:40 the airport received a radio call that it was returning after having pressurization problems at 28,000 feet. The MD80 landed safely with 49 people on board. The problem was corrected, and the jet left again at 10:10 p.m.
