well did not do well yesterday (no surprise) still trying to get a handle on the NBA..funny how you think you know so much until you start betting.. i used to be able to pick when no loot was on the line but w/ the pressure of loot it changes my thinking..
need to try to get back to my old ways..oh well nuff talking let's get to the games
PHI@TOR -3
tough tough game...i live in toronto and at first i would lean towards hot philly, but living in tor, i know that the raptors have circled this game since last year game 7 of the playoffs. the spread seems just right with the reason above and a hot philly coming to a cold toronto. i really feel tor will come out hot for this game cause they NEED to prove something this year after last years playoffs.
TOR -3(i'm not really a raptor fan so living in tor has not affected my opinion on this one)

HOU@LAC NO LINE
well, with steve francis a question mark this game has no line so really can't analyze this one. but even w/ francis i would have to go w/ the clip who are playing well at home and w/ brand at forward there is knowone on hou to match up w/ him. both running teams and only if the line is small (up to 3) i would go w/ the clip only b/c they are at home

IND@SEA -4.5
j.o'neal should have a field day in this game. he seems to excel against average forwards and sea has a bunch of avg. forwards if even average. so i see o'neal making the difference in this game w/ most other positions being a good matchup(except payton, but w/ rose and miller they make up for what he will do to tinsley)
IND +4.5

NJ@GS +1
off the bat i would said to myself, "NJ only favoured by 1? what is going on?" and after thinking about it i would have to stay on the NJ train until they derail...only caution for me would be whether or not NJ is tired...they have played a bunch of games(2 OT games) in the past week and fatigue is my only holdback, but even w/ that in mind i would stay w/ NJ, as GS i feel are a poor team
NJ -1

DEN@LAL -13.5
lakers are MY team, and i will never bet against them no matter what. lakers have been covering big spreads this year(unlike last year) and i would play lakers but w/ den getting hammered their last meeting not too long ago, i would have to REALLY caution myself from this big spread...lakers look REALLY good, w/ shaq and kobe scoring less than their average in the last couple of games but still hammering teams by 15 or more. team is playing excellent defence. in the end if i had to pick, it would be the lakeshow
LAL -13.5

to all who read this, these picks are w/ the mindset that I HAVE to pick a team and does not mean i am playing all of these games...this post is just food for thought and any and all comments are more than welcome...i'll edit this post later w/ what i'm playing
thanks
