Arguably the worst starter in the major leagues is going tomorrow. He could be the poster boy for how expansion has diluted starting pitching. Usually when he pitches the line is so steep, I usually pass the game. Tomorrow he is on the road, and Detroit is laying only -138 with their top starter (Weaver) going. Sure Detroit isn't very good, but now with two wins and a little momentum, they should have little trouble sweeping this gas can. Rupe's got some real impressive #s: 0-2 at Comerica with a 11.57 ERA; Since 1999, his road ERA is 6.32 and overall ERA is 5.90.

Geno--

I'm not a big proponent of laying a run and a half, but this is one guy I'd do it against. I would expect this line to close at around -150 by gametime.

Valuist..like your logistics...RUPE is just terrible...a couple, actually about 4 years ago...my buddy and I went against Calvin Maduro when he was with the Phillies & made a killing..just a terrible pitcher back then...I still see signs nowadyas..he's currently with the O's, but he is improved..anyway RUPE really sucks and more especially on the road...Also, I like your revenge angle, especially so early after already playing the same team once.

On the course!
I agree about Rupe, but would not hitch my wagon to Detroit!

Good luck with your play, but the over seems to offer a little better value, I think.
