Not trying to sound like a homer Guru, but be careful going against SCAR at home this year. Their defense (especially at home) is the nastiest I have ever seen at SCAR.
Their defense is the #1 scoring defense in the SEC only surrendering 56.3 points a game (the #2 team gives up 3.8 more points a game, which is a big margin). They are also #2 in the conference in scoring margin at +15.7 points a game, #1 in the conference in blocked shots a game with 6.17 per, #3 in the conference in steals at 9.94 a game, and #1 in turnover margin at +5.50 a game.
SCAR has not played since the Tenn game last Saturday, so they will be very rested (but maybe rusty?). This will allow them to turn up that smothering defense a few notches, which could spell trouble for LSU. Columbia has been a buzz this week in anticipation for the game. It is already a sell out, which means there will be 18,000 Gamecock faithful in attendence. I'm not trying to back anyone off of playing LSU (I'm not playing the game myself, rarely play for/against SCAR), just wanted to give everyone a "local" perspective about how tough SCAR is at home.
Good luck with your plays.
