Hey Chuck, hope all is well....Here's a few tidbits on tonight's game....My book hasn't put a number out yet but have seen -17/17- around at others earlier in the week....Also I gave up my lease in the MJ's Sportsbar Thread and have moved to the Movers & Shakers Thread for the season....More space and a better view in my opinion....
In the Spring Game Maine looked good on both sides of the ball and have added depth since then...Pre Season #7 and Picked 3rd in the Pre Season CAA.....JMU & Townson were picked ahead of Maine with many picking JMU/NDST for the National Championship Game....
#7 Ranked Maine is LOADED this year on both sides of the ball....New coach, nasty D, return key offensive weapons along with a couple of D-1 RB transfers.....Ticket sales are high, looks around 8,000 as of yesterday, game time temps in the high 60's in Orono....
Sacred Heart is not a bad team by any stretch...They have a strong defense, QB transfer from Temple, a very good RB and have beaten the last 3 top 25 teams they have faced....
The Black Bears players are fired up and so are the fans.....Looking for a hard hitting 31-13 type of game, I plan on teasing the Bears down if the number stands around 17....

I just got -14 as well.....I think many still people have that memory of the NES D[FONT=Verdana,Arial,Tahoma,Calibri,Geneva,sans-serif]uquesne Dukes knocking off the CAA Townson Tigers at home in the playoffs last year 31-10....Townson jumped out early to a 10-0 lead in the rain then did diddly squat after....People forget the Dukes were waxed the following week by SDST 51-6, the Jack Rabbits weren't exactly tough on D last year imho....Maine made it to the Final 4 then got waxed at E. Wash. 50-19 after back to back West Coast trips...
The CAA preseason ranking are JMU, Townson then Maine at #3.....The NES has Duquesne at #1 and SH at #2, SH lost at Duq 28-24 last year, this is a good squad that most have never heard of.....SH will play hard and the game will be close, just feel Maine has too many weapons and a tad better D....
New coach and a ton of skilled players for Maine I think the Bears will take early shots down field and SH will try and play it close to the vest on the road and hope to make adjustment at the half....
Gun to my head, Maine -7 FH....but I wouldn't put cash on it....
I do like my 4 team tease <M&S Forum, slimy plug> with Maine bet down to -1.....

WOW, what a first half hope you put some coin on it....404 passing yards for Ferguson, only weak spot was 140 penalty from the D....Only one half but they do look good and deep....
