I predict saddam will be killed/suicided before any trial.

As someone alluded to, he has much too much information on Iraqi dealings in the past, to be allowed to speak in an open trial. His testimony could be a nightmare for France, Germany, George Bush, Rumsfeld, Cheney, Halliburton, CIA.

He is undoubtedly a war criminal, with massacres, and torture in his past. If he has good legal representation, and is thinking clearly (that one would be a big assumption), he could implicate a lot of people and countries as accessories to his crimes.

There are so many people who need him silenced, my prediction is that he is never allowed to come to trial, one way or the other.

Anyone agree?

Maybe. But they have there ways to make sure he does not get a open mike in front of him to spill to much. There may not be much he can say as to Bush 43. But his Dad and Raegan. Could be. Forsure Reagan who supported him. Even tho we new back then he was gassing the soldiers from Iran. And had ideas Kurds were getting hit to. We were one of his supliers for years. Right after 91 war we new Kurds were getting hit again. We did little. Had no fly zone. But that was it. We did not stop his military from going where it wanted to in side Iraq. That was deal made in 91 by Dad. So junior may be off the hook. But do we know what went on behind the curtains forsure. No we never do. Some times that's better.

he may have no credibility, but he could certainly grandstand at a trial in a way that could make many around the world squirm.

I say they don't let him get to trial..

Actually, we are considering invoking his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination under Amercan law or his 249th fatwah exclusion pursuant to Moslem Code Section 54 (B). Any other legal questions.

Where is Jack Ruby when you need him?
