I'm not sure on what the math is that converts ratings like Sagarin into the RPI. But it could be a very interesting Selection Sunday, if these Sagarin ratings get much weight.
Maryland and Florida State are in the 20s, so one could logically conclude that they're probably in. Sagarin has five ACC teams ranked in the top 13.
Stanford might not be a lock #1, if they exit early in the Pac 10 tourney. Maybe the Pac-10 does suck that much.
UTEP and Richmond are in the 40s. I haven't heard anybody mention UTEP as an at-large team. Also, Nevada is in the 30s, so I'd think they're in.
It would be a real head-scratcher if Washington was shut out. #2 in Pac 10, swept Arizona, gave Stanford their only loss. But they're only #59 in Sagarin and lower in the RPI.
