NEW ORLEANS +5.5 (Sunday) - The Saints could fool a lot of people this season, as QB Aaron Brooks, RB Deuce McAllister, and WR Joe Horn are all in line for big seasons. The Saints also have a solid defensive line that should be very tough against the run. While New Orleans did lose its top 2 pass rushers from last season, they may not feel the effects of that this week vs. a generally conservative Tampa Bay attack. The Saints actually had a better S/U road record (4-4) than home record (3-5) last season, losing their road games by a narrow 1.5 points per game. Look for them to stay in this game until the end, as I expect this game to be decided by a field goal either way. I personally feel that the Buccaneers are a tad overrated this season. Granted, they have one of the best defenses in the NFL, but I am still not convinced that their offense is any better than last season, when they constantly bogged down in the red zone. This is not the type of team to blow teams away, making them very vulnerable vs. what I think is an underrated Saints team. This is also a revenge situation for New Orleans, as one of Tampa Bay?s few blowout wins last season was a 48-21 romp here over these Saints.
