samford +5-: haven't had much time to post lately but thought this matchup presented a nice opportunity with samford catching the points in macon. this is a huge game for both teams tied for 6th in the socon, with tonight's winner claiming the 6th and final bye in the socon tournament. mercer won the first meeting 68-65 in Birmingham ealier this year, but the bulldogs have been playing pretty well in their conference, losing by dd only 3 times, twice to furman and once to etsu, the socon's 2 best teams.have to believe samford stays in this one til the end.
