feel better after taking four of five last night but will keep plays at one unit each for now.

samford +2-: samford plays a princeton style offense that can be exasperating to those not familiar enough to deal with it. while most ovc teams know the bulldogs' drill, murray state is in the midst of a complete remake, with a new coach and mostly new players this year. also, racers' shawn witherspoon is questionable after reaggravating an old fot injury. finally, spread could well be the difference tonight given this year's conference parity - fourteen of the eighteen ovc games played thus far this year have been decided by five poits or less.

nc a&t +14: sendek's teams have never performed very well as dd favorites. a&t already acclimated having played at new mexico a couple of nights ago.

one more:

idaho st +21-: i know this is an ugly one, and i may regret it, but this appears to be a flat spot for the illini coming off the big win over mo with a road trip to xavier after the xmas break.

interesting selections on very low profile programs, like the Samford play quite a bit.

Good luck

some interesting comments from idaho st coach and locals...

"Joe O'Brien says he's not going to Illinois with aspirations to win. He just wants his players to have fun. That means the Bengals will come back to Idaho at 5-7 with a HUGE game at Boise State next. Beat the Broncos on the road and ISU fans have permission to get excited."

Wow you don't hear a coach say that much now do you. What is that teaching your team?
