Looking at this matchup tells me SD is the play as they have had a tougher sched. i.e. (Average power rating of opponents played: SAN DIEGO 71, MARSHALL 64.6) and have wins against Hawaii, SJ state and last out Kentucky. Marshall lost last out to Liscomb

some other interesting ATS :

SD as an underdog this yr 5-3 ATS, last 3 yrs 18-9 versus Marshalls ATS as a fav this yr are 0-1 and 4-15 last 3 yrs. Just wonder how SD comes out after whomping Kentucky.. any input?

11am start for sd. i always like going against the west coast teams on the early starts, usually first halves especially until the west coats teams get their legs below em.

cal has an early 9:30 start for them so i hope they come out flat vs aforce as well

I assure you that Cal did not arrive last night. If it were the NBA I could see room for concern, but I'm sure they have been there for a few days now acclimating.

nfl teams arrive early and they often are not right. anytime the west goes east for the 1pm starts they dont do well. i would guess that the east teams cover 70-75% of the games over the year. its not the end all be all but something to consider. seattle and san fran 0-2 yesterday. i know week 17 is a joke but the spreads were adjusted accordingly as well. i know when i come back from the westcoast to florida it takes a good 3-4 days to balance out. all that being said cal will probably be up 21-0 at half since i said all this.

I do like SD -2.5 2nd half to cut the deficit to within 8 -10 and slow it down a bit , so plinking 1/2 units on :

San Diego -2? -110 for 2nd Half

San Diego/.Marshall under 72? -110 for 2nd Half
