UTSA +2.5 over San Diego St ******
Wrong team favored . Was trying to remember where I fell in love with the Roadrunners . Everyone here knows I take them almost every week, Was it 2 years ago when they played North Texas at the Alomodome or when they played Texas St. I do remember the North Texas game because I was sitting right behind the Roadrunners bench. On the 1st play Sincere McCormick 5'9 built like a fire hydrant ran for a 56 yd touchdown. Untouched . A UTSA Ol opened up a hole like the Lincoln tunnel. Harris their qb was a 6'1 string bean and was a lefty. But their wr Franklin was a 6'1 175 pound threat when ever he caught the ball . A home run hitter. Cephus was their other tall wr at 6'3 who caught everything that was thrown at him. Ol was big and strong. They have everyone back from last yrs team. When I was watching the teams warmups Adkins their 2nd string qb was throwing the ball about 50-60 yds in the air. And then Thats where I saw Hunter Duplass I was watching there team warm up from 10 feet away and saw the UTSA dressed their ball boy for the game. Thought that was really nice . He was about 5'6 and a little stocky. But then he was practicing kicking the ball thru the net. He was UTSA's kicker,
UTSA defense is solid. All year they held teams as their offense demolished team after team They ended up 12-1 and were ranked . San Diego state is ranked winning 4 of last 5 games and UTSA had been ranked in all 3 polls but got knocked UTSA played WKU who had the best Qb in the country and beat them . Traylor the UTSA coach was rumored to leave the Roadrunners for SMU Tex Tech etc They had a team meeting and the athletic dir was there. All the player knew it was the AD announcing the coach is leaving. When the AD announced Traylor is not leaving signed a new contract the locker room went crazy {see you tube"} Traylor hired all Tex HS coaches like himself as assistants and can recruit the 2 star and make him a 4 star.
Don't sleep on UTSA defense They can flat out play and think the Aztecs are in trouble Sincere is the best running back in the country . If he played for an Alabama or a Georgia he is the Heisman . Aztecs have not seen this kid play with his vision and speed. Harris is elusive and has an arm Their wr;s can all catch it and run after. OL is power, strong, big . DL is is outstanding Line backers can stop the run Aztecs might be favored and ranked but these Roadrunners are for real . No way am I getting off this train, They win almost every week and cover. Not sure of there ats record but I think I lost maybe once or twice all year,
Beep beep Think Wylie could never could catch the Roadrunner But Sincere is faster then his buddy and think he just might say beep beep as he beaks one past the Azteca linebackers and secondary. beep beep

Although I love the road runners and that's my girls alma mater I completely disagree here.

the right team is favored they play a much tougher schedule. that's not the road runners fault because they don't know who they're going to play but you take a couple of San Diego states opponents and put them on UTSA's schedule and they would have a couple more losses.

All the sharp money and syndicate are on San Diego state that's why the line flipped when there's more betting public on the road runners.

Now the real question is San Diego State going to take the game seriously because if they are they can beat the road runners by more than what north Texas did (Who by the way will be playing at the same venue as this game in two days right here in Frisco Texas).

It is undoubtably the road runners biggest game in program history but they aren't on the same level of a San Diego state right now.

hes declared for the draft and is protecting himself

SDST. plays some grown ass man defense, but could consider punting on 3rd down with that offense.

Bought UTSA to +3.5 myself... think if they lose, it's by a FG or less. I know their stud RB is out, but the Aztecs offense sucks

Didn't realize that not only Sincere is missing but there best defender who had to sit out 1st half.. Also had a halftime +1/2 UTSA ** but lost that on the last play Want to play the Aztecs in 2nd half but am going to remain on the Roadrunner train. Roadrunners are missing 6 starters .. great capping on my part. So maybe they play some better defense in the 2nd half.. and to make matters worse.. They show Sincere with his UTSA jersey on standing in the sidelines with his teammates . "Excuse me Sincere, but get your ass off our bench and go sit in the stands . We don't want you hurt for the NFL ...

All good box! You are an asset to the forum and a good dude. You have love for the Roadrunners and looked past a few key elements. But when I'm in San Antonio later this week I'll definitely be picking up a Roadrunners cap. They are headed in the right direction!

Let's have a beer sometime :toast:

wow that was an ugly game esp. when you lose . UTSA even with Sincere would of still probably lost but made it closer. UTSA defense was bad and San Diego st had over 120 yards in penalties and still won big. ugly game .. leaving tomorrow for dallas to see the Frisco Bowl North Texas- Miami Meeting about 5 of my college buddies and going out to a restaurant tomorrow night and thursday afternoon the game. Think you must be real careful with these bowl games because good players are opting out. Just heard the Pitt qb in't playing And when that camera went over to the bench and Sincere McCormick is in his Roadrunner jersey talking to his teammates I wanted to ... just don't feel how you can betray and abandon your school, teammates and coaches and sit out I do understand why they are opting out but I don't have to agree with there decisions. Although you earned what you are. UTSA gave you a chance to become the leading rusher in the country and the possibility of becoming a NFL player. You weren't recruited at any big schools but UTSA gave you an education[ hopefully } and to be a prospect at the next level "Thank you for your loyalty and appreciate everything UTSA did for me. " "Thank you coach for designing an offense that let me exploit my talent when no one else believed in me " and hopefully the NY Giants will draft me and like all NY draft choices won't make the NFL roster. Beep beep

joeco I didn't understand what the message was. I thought you were talking about basketball I was out all day and got back just before the game started Then I read all the news and realized to late they were missing 5 or 6 starters and Sincere . my bad ,,when you don't do your homework right and its incomplete your graded an F And tonight I got an F. I could of raised to to a C with a halftime play but no way.. Wylie caught the Roadrunner tonight and cooked him .
