Ending was a nightmare if you had the Cuse.Listened to the last 5 minuts on the radio coming home from a school event.I ran in my office and turned on the computer last nite to see the score and they were up by 17.I was celebrating saying"I knew it".What a terrible ride home.
Zona -1.5 over Kansas
So much written on this game.not going to waste time and space.Zona is quicker,more athletic,much deeper,and has 2 solid gds.Kansas has Collison who is playing big time but Henrich has left his game back in Larwrence.Shooting 1-9 scoring 2 pts vs Duke.Maybe he is hurt.But Zona will be in his face today.Stout,Gardner and frontline of Anderson,Frye,Walton and co are to much for J-Hawks
I think Zona defense can pressure Miles and cause problems.KU perimiter defense is nothing to write home about.
Both teams have great transition offense.Just think Zona is quicker and deeper.
When Zona beat them earlier in the yr. KU led 52-39 at half.Lute went zone and KU couldn't hit anything.Hinrich shot 6-17 and the cats were off to the races winning 91-74.And this game was in the gym of "Oz".

Marquette +7 over Kentucky
I agree with several others here that with or w/o Bogans this is a game.I think maybe the w/o Bogans, Marquette could actually win.Bogans presence and how effective he will be will be a contributing factors to the outcome.
Wade is a stud and the best player on the court.Diener is the hottest player in the country and has opened everyones eyes.Jackson,Merritt and co play there role.Crean has done an outstanding job with this team esp. on defense.
UK is loaded with greyhounds.They play that pressure defense,contest shots,etc.But on offense Bogans is there only true scorer.Estill inside can score and Fitch is there only real threat from the perimeter.They have slashers,and guys that score in transition but they have to work to score.
I see Marq. doubling down on Estill,try to keep Jackson from early foul trouble,and let UK shoot from the perimeter.Maybe overplay Fitch a little.
Wildcats like to extend there defense.But when you have a Diener he can cause mismatches and if Wade gets the ball he can break anyone down by putting the ball on the floor.
I like the +7 with Bogs or w/o.And if his high ankle sprain is bothering him and he sits the Golden Eagles could win outright.
Can't help to think of Al McGuire at this time of the yr.More so with his team playing.He is my all time favorite coach.Got to meet him a few times and heard him speak many times.
I have his 2 books plus his famos "Mosquito Defense" book.

Tenn plays 4 in a row in Knoxville on a court thats painted that ugly shade of orange.Balanced scoring and a great defense.Penn St has superstar in Mazzante.She will be hounded.

Duke -12.5 over georgia.. Beard,Beard and Beard.If she played in Kansas-Duke game Dukies would still be playing.
