DePaul +10.5 over Seton Hall Not a big play but the game is early12.00[noon]
DePaul has a great frontline.Their athletic and can score and rebound.Holland,Brown and Greer are 6'6,6'7 and 6'9.Brown is avg a double double 13-10.Holland is avg 20 pts a game.
their problems are at gd.Diener is avg and no way like his brother.Mejia the local kid from my area is tough but still raw. He's a 6'5 pt gd that can pass and score. He's avg just 5 pts a game but 4 apg's.
SH is playing great.Barrett is an all american pt gd.He;s avg 16 pts a game,5 bds and is 22-55 from the 3.Sweet,Allen,Morris, and Toney-el are all 6'5 and 6'6 greyhounds. All can play G-F's.Whitney is back at center but he's undersized at 6'8 but can play.He won't have a problem vs DePaul 's post players.
I had the line at SH -7 or 8 so I'm taking the double digits here. But not a big play because lyr DePaul always would have problems vs quick gds despite beating SH by 11 at home.
Barrett is so good that in a minut a 4 or 5 pt lead could be 10 pts in 30 seconds.He hits a 3,gets a steal.penetrate,dishes off and "wham"..it's a 10 pt lead.
SH shoots FT's well were DeP is a poor FT team.
Sweets has elevated his game.Orr has these kids focused and not fighting among each other. It was lyr's game vs dePaul where Toney-el and Orr had a big fight over substitutions.Hall has grown up a little
But Brown and Holland inside will cause enough problems to make this a close game.
DePaul +10.5 ...2 boxes

I'll post this and come back..

Kent St -10.5 over Bonnies
kent has 2 solid gds in Haut and Haynes.Both can score and pass.Edwards is a 7'0 kid avg 11 pts and 6 bds a game.Brown is a 6'7 scorer.They have some depth with six or 7 players all avg's 5 and 6 pts.They can shoot the 3 and Haynes avg's 5 apg's.
Bonnies has the 5'7 Green who is avg 22 pts a game 5.2 apg's,and is 31-82 from the 3[38%] He has 37 steals but 36 TO's.
Lottin and Young both avg double figures.Camera is 6'11 but avgs 4-4.
Bonnies defense is a problem and rebounding.

Rutgers -5.5 over Northwestern
RU's plays great defense.Shields and Lamizana are both avg double digits.Lama-lama-ding dong had a few defensive misreads in his last game and Walters pulled his ass right on the bench.
Webb has been a savior at the pt as a frosh.Douby and Hill can score.Axani is a weak link. But its there defense that I'm impressed with.Perimeter D is great. They contest shots, box out, etc.
Northwestern has a solid gd in Young.Vukusic the 6'8 Croatian has awoken scoring 20 pts in his last 3.At 6'8 he scores passes and rebounds.Parker is another solid gd.
Carmody runs "motion offense" like Princetons. But RU handled the Tigers offense with all its backdoor cuts ,etc.So they seen this offense already.
The game is in El paso.I think RU can win this by 10 pts or more.

Will come back later for 2 or 3 more games

Rutgers ..4 boxes
Kent.........3

Box- GL with DePaul. Passed myself...worried about (as you mentioned) Hall's quickness against them.

East Tenn -2 over IU/PU-Indy
IU has one of the best players in Bradley. He avg 22 pts and 10 bds. They have some scorers in Cole and Clark. But ETSU has some balanced scoring.Smith,Rhoda,Nuckles,Anthony and Zakee Woods.Fields is a big 6'7 kid inside that can score. And Zakee can block shots get steals, etc.
IU is tough though but ET gets the win and covers out on the Island.

Vir Tech +1 over ECU[the line moved up to 3.5 now]
ECU and VT,2 doormats of their leagues who have really improved.ECU has a great gd combo in Rivers and Wiley.Mikulas at 6'8 and 6'10 Badiance, leading shot blocker in the BE the past 2 yrs.Bing is a 6'6 scorer. They are avg 81 pts a game.Their last 3 games were against NC&ATT,Garden Webb, and Hampton .They do not shoot 3's very often so their perimeter game is weak.
VT is a little tougher.Led by 6'7 Mathews who is avg 26 pts agame,3rd in the nation. He gets fouled a lot and is 91-123 from the FT.Gorden,Dowdell are 2 solid gds and 6'9 McCandies and 6'8 Calloway help inside the paint.
VT plays a little better defense so I give them the nod.Not a strong play.ECU frontline scares me.
I got the line at +1 but now has moved up to +3.5.{game is in Norfolk] Lyr ECU won by 18 over VT.

Cal -22.5 over Columbia
Lions are terrible. Can't score. They are playing well for new coach but Cals has to many athletes.Cal shoul dwin by 25 or more.

Wisky -13.5 over Ohio
Defense,rebounding,no turnovers,

ETSU...6 boxes
VT...3 boxes
Cal,Wisky..2 boxes
Lost DePaul..Almost like I said and was afraid of.DePaul up 59-57 with 7 minuts.barrett goes off,steal,hits 3,hits another,layup.assit,pass score,etc
SH went on a 16-0 run.Barrett either scored or had someting to do with 12 of those pts.
