I'm going to put this game up because it starts 11.45 AM est.
Marquette +8.5 over Cinn.
I know Barekats are at home with everyone in black and red.Marq beat them by 14 at home and lost to them on Little's baselines jumper at the buzzer.
Crean has done an unreal job with this team.They play great defense,get every loose ball,hit the bds,box out,and can shoot the tre.Cincy defense is just as good.They rebound better and Stokes,Logan and co can run the floor.But marq has "Oh Henry" and Wade and Nnamka.
These are 2 top defenses teams going at it.I think 8.5 pts is way to much considering Marq could win this outright.
It's just over a yr Al McGuire passed away.But if Marq. is leading by a couple pts at the end of the game and Huggy Bare calls a tomeout I'll be looking for a "halo" around creans huddle.
Like Marq +8.5

damn game****s beat me the other day with Miss St.But they ain't beating me today.Bama has to many "greyhounds".Grizzard and co outrun and out rebound them.Bama offense to explosive.SC looked good beating kentucky.So there heads are swollen for todays game.Bama did beat SC by 1 at SC.Today they win by 8-10 pts.

Kansas -12 over Texas Tech
Knight needs an early flight back to Lubbock to watch his ESPN special tomr nite.TT has been playing great.But Kansas in its last 5 games could give my Knicks a game.Their FG% is 50,3 pt 48%,FT 78%,and rebounding 40 a game.Damn.Those are some numbers.TT defense will stay even for awhile but "wear and tear"will give the jayhawks a 20 pt win.

Maryland -9.5 over NC St.
Hate going against teams that made you money but Terps are loaded.Everyone knows that.Can Gary motivate them to kick ass today.Maryland is a great ats team. they are 9-1 ats in last 10 games.They are 4-0 ats in last 4 with Nc St.
They have solid gd play and the frontline is awesome.Think they also wear down the Pack.

Miss St -5 over LSU
Think bubble bursts today for the tigers.

Will be back late afternoon or tonite for nite games. Luv Pitt again. Think I have some sound reasons why they win.I already put my bet in at -1.Think it will go a half a pt or two.

Yes, I do like Alabama today. I think they are on a mission. I really think that Ole Miss game did more good than harm. USC is a good team but if yesterday signled an end to the Grizzard slump then beware. Alabama can play with ANYONE if Grizzard is on and then Dudley, the man, is on.

Box, I'd like to hear what you say about Pitt/UConn. I know you've like Pitt all year but I haven't seen a team hit the boards like UConn did last night for awhile. They were going after it. ND had to bomb it to stay in the game. It should be a great game!

Bama, sorry didn't reply yesterday. How you like Grizzard busting out yesterday? I think similar to McDyess busting out in the tourney when he went pro, i think Grizzard is going to make a big run. I don't like it, but i think it might happen. Needless to say i think the Tide cover the small number today. Probably take them at the half as well. Should be small first half number to cover.

Unicorn,your right about Conn inside play.I'll explain it tonite.Gotta run,my daughter is flying in from Austin.Got to pick her up.Just graduated from from UT and is now an Ele.Ed teacher in Austin.I have 4 kids and this is my first one out on her own. Just think I got 3 more to go. later

Like USC over Zona. Strong play.Better defense,Clancy,and shooters from all over.They destroyed Stanford and Ore.Zona with gardner and walton are tough.But USC wins this and covers

Like Richmond +6 over XU.Xu is a terrible ats team even though they won for me last nite.XU beat the Spiders twice by 10 and 3 already.Think the new kids in the league give XU problems.

Pitt -1.5 over Conn
Tough game to capp.They never played each other.If you looked at the BE conf team stats it would blow you away.In almost 8 catogories Conn and Pitt are 1st and 2nd.In scoring,scoring margin,FG%,rebounding,etc,etc.FT's Pitt is bad but so is Conn.

Conn has Butler and Gorden that are explosive and can shoot and drive.Their front line of Okafor,Selvie and Butler with brown coming off the bench is rock solid.Their one weakness is pt gd Talick Brown.He is out of control sometimes and Robertson has just found his shot back.But Calhoun stills holds his breath everytime he lets one go.Gorden who I saw play in HS is the real deal.he can go by knight and page anytime.
Pitt defense is tough with the 2 best gds in the BE on both ends of the court.It's rare when they are both excellent on O and D.
Zavakas is the perfect player who is big and can stick the "J" when Knight kicks it out.Brown who almost lost the Miami game yest with his out of control drives is a 6'4 kid playing 6'8.Morris the center played only a few minuts and lett and Troutman played the rest.
You have the 2 BE POYr in this game.Both teams won their conf.Again I'll go with the better gds,depth,and a slightly better defense.With 2 great players that you are trying to defend it's always easier to stop the foward with less range then a quick gd that can shoot and drive.
Think this game is so even.I worry about Conn's frontline and quickness inside vs the more physical Pitt line.
Pitt wins this by 3 or 4 pts.Like Pitt to win the BE and get a 2nd seed.

Hawaii +6.5 over Tulsa.
Think the Bows win this outright despite the home crowd.Better defense and Savovic who likes this gym will lite it up like he did last nite.

Yale +7.5 over Penn
Penn has dominated since Eisenhower was Pres.Yale is talented with draughan and Vitilli.Onyekwe,and Archibong are better athletes.Think destiny is involved.How long can it be that Princeton and Penn have owned the Ivy.

utah St -1.5 over UCSB
Utah St plays great defense.UCSB is loaded on offense and shot 50% yest.Not tonite.Utah already beat them twice by 4 and 8.Tonite they split that number and win by 6.

GL..Doing OK on other picks.Lost Marquette.Huggybare throws a zone at them.Smart move.Last nite vs Houston ,Marq had a problem vs the zone.I guess Huggybare watched it and said"lets surprise everyone and throw a zone at them".Wish he would of told me too.
