UNC-Maryland Over 170. The total does seem high--both teams can hit into the 80s with the over still not hitting--, but it doesn't scare me. Maybe it's a leftover feeling from some of the ridiculously high college bowl overs that all still hit with ease. In this match-up, the over has hit eight of nine times since the 00-01 season. While this total line is set higher than any of those games, when factoring the score of this game, I notice the winner has regularly scored well into the 80s over the last decade and in 7 of the last 9 has surpassed the 90-point mark. UNC's potent offense has a great chance of exceeding its 93 per game average. I know it's conference play, allegedly defense picks it up notch, but part of the reason why the ACC is so superior than the rest of the country is because it's teams still know how to score over good defenses. UNC could hit the century mark, but Maryland can go hoop for hoop with them for much of the game, because the ACC may have good defenses, but not sure UNC is one of them.
