Iowa -17.5 over Cornell **** best play
Iowa is rebuilding but it has B-10 Pl of the week in 6'5 shooter Haluska. He's on fire and will cause the Big Red big time matching problems.Smith the super frosh can score and Looby a fd at 6'10 and center Gorney at 7'0 will cause havoc in the paint.Cornell has one front line player in Naeve at 6'10 and he's not a dominate player avg 8 pts and 6 bds a game.Cornell starts almost all freshman and sophs. They can shoot the 3 but vs Iowa's quicker athletes think they have a problem even doing that.Cornells best player Gore went down for the season after his 1st game and Hartford there 6'9 kid has sit out the season also. They are weak on the bds esp off. bds where they get none.I think the speed and size difference will disrupt the red offense.Iowa beat up on TSU,Geo St and Iowa St by 37,41 and 18.Drake upset them by playing zone defense and stopping Haluska. But Smith who was a big time recruit is doing what everyone thought he would. At 6'7 he scores inside and outside.he'll get better and better as the season goes on. Big Red will have mucho trouble trying to stop him.See Iowa winning this by 20-25 and coasting.

Kansas-URI over 149 **
kansas -25 over URI *
I hate playing the over-under.You all are so much better. But Rhode Island with Barons running rams are now 11-0 on the over. They are 2-9 ats.Kansas is -25. That might be a good play since RI plays no defense. But I'll take the over. KU will score 85-90 pts. That means URI must score around 60-65 pts.

UConn pk over WV *
Miss St -1.5 over G.Mason *
Cincinnati -3.5 over Ohio * i love this Ohio team but I think Cats cover by a few more.

Princeton -5.5 over Iona **
Iona is so bad. They are ranked in the 300's in avg 53 a game,FG%,3pt %,etc and etc.But the worst is there FT %. Wilt Chamberlain and Shaq have a better %.It's 50%. On top of that they have no coach in Ruland. Tigers don't impress me this yr but..they have enough to get a win and cover in front of a small crowd.

Georgetown +1.5 over Michigan *
UNLV pk over Houston **

Box- Gore's knee injury against Northwestern had to just be a knife in the heart of those Cornell players. The guy can just flat-out play. Gonna be a tough year for the Big Red, although they could be much-improved next season.

SORRY BOX

SORRY BOX

I WOULD HAVE PITCHED A WARNING TO YOU AND ALL. IOWA IS NOT A GOOD TEAM. I KNOW THEY THUMPED A COUPLE LAME TEAMS AND HISTORICALLY PLAY WELL AT HOME BUT I WILL BE STUNNED IF THEY FINISH .500 FOR THE YEAR. THERE WILL BE SPOTS HERE AND THERE BUT VERY LIMITED. ONE OTHER TIDBIT. THE BOWL GAME IS TODAY SO ABSOLUTELY NO ONE WAS AT THE ARENA TODAY. LOOKED LIKE 1500-2000. JUST A HEADS UP.....LATE
