Lions have been playing tough..RU is so much better then last yr maybe not in wins and losses.its a work in progress but on the rd they are still hurting...

Both teams lost top scorers...Jays have played a few w/o their star...and are getting acclimated more..XU defense has had some breakdowns...
Baylor -8 over KSU **
Bears almost had KU..."if a bear is chasing you just laydown and pretend to be dead...even though its a wildcat..same result..Bear won't eat you but scare the living day lites out of you..
Rice -7.5 over North Texas *****
Think Owls roll here..they are avg 80 pts a game...NT cannot play any defense,lame duck coach,can't even make the Conf tourney...Rice is 14-7 now.. Evans is one of the most underated gds in the country and Koulov is a scoring machine ..Combs NT's top scorer is out for the season...double digit win for Owls..
UTSA +7.5 over UAB **
Smoo -6.5 over Tulsa ***
Mustangs just rolling over everybody...Tulsa has won 5 of last 6 at home....but Mustangs can score and more importantly play "lock down" defense"...teams avg 58 pts a game...Ojel is a monster..Milton,Moore,etc can play...and with only 7 scholarship players these guys play almost the entire game...no time to put the subs in because they have none...if you look at some of the blowouts Milton played 38 minutes....the other starters 34,35,etc..as long as they don't get tired Smoo will keep on rolling...
UTA -11.5 over Tex St ***
Tx St beat then already....UTA has way to much talent..Tx has won 3 in a row but vs UL Mon,Appa St ect...there top rebounder Pearson is a gd..no inside post players...UTA has Hervey who plays everywhere and Bilboa....Neal is an outstanding pt gd...if both bring there A games today UTA wins by over 15...but UTA doesn't bring their A game and every time I play these guys they bring the C game...so maybe fade this play....but I'm stubborn and taking the Mavs...
