You get a boo at some of my NCAA plays as well, buried on the IFs herein. I'm probably not going to bother to post NCAA selections in that forum, despite actually doing quite well last week.
As for the NHL plays: rangers haven't been playing up to their capabilities while the Bruins have been overachieving thus far--I think that might change today; Penguins playing on back-to-back nights but I think that they're the much better team in this tilt--full of youth, too, so playing back-to-back should hurt them less than most--#1 Fleury should be in net, too, as he had last night off; Stars unbeaten so far at home (in regulation) and should be able to leap-frog the Ducks to takeover first in the Division; the addition of Kariya is working well for the Blues, and I think that they're a good play at this price; Sens look like the best team in the NHL at this early juncture, while the Sharks have a fairly easy task tonight, and the Lightning will no doubt want to quickly erase the memories of their last outting.
Best I can do with everything else that's going on today.
Had a(noTHER) losing day on Thursday, but it was only about a half-unit overall as I did go 4-3 on my plays. Late garbage goals against the Sens and the Flames cost me a plus.
I'm overdue for a sunny day, here.
