Seton Hall -6 over Lasalle ***
Hall has a 6 game winning streak but has stayed home in NJ.Lasalle has won 5 of their last 7.
Lasalle has some super sophs.Neal is a 6'4 scorer that is avg 21 pts a game. He shoots the 3 and is an 80% FT shooter.Smith another soph is 6'8 and can score and rebound.Bell and Thomas both avg 6 to 7 pts .This is a young team yet and not very deep.
Hall is loaded with depth and everyone avg in double figures.All 6'5 and 6'6 greyhounds.Very athletic which could give lasalle problems.Barrett again sets everyone up.
Not a big play because Hall has been playing at home.The game is not at Lasalle but in the Palestra where Lasalle hasn't won recently.

Arkansas -13.5 over North Texas **
NT on the road are terrible.But you have to throw everything away with the addition of Shawson Johnson the 6'9 LSU transfer.He is avg 16 pts 9 bds and shooting 60%.But their one true pt gd quit last week.NT is loaded with 2 gds and 3's that all love to shoot.Hopkins is 16-51,Rodgers 12-37,and Mitchell 6-32.And a lot of those games were at home except the TCU one.
Hogs are coming off a nice win at tulsa.There really not a strong team but are athletic and quick.Modica is on fire,scoring from everywhere.Think they concentrate on stopping SoJo and guys like Brewer,Fergunson and Famu will cause matchup problems.
not a big play either because SoJo is such an impact on NT's offense and defense.

Manhattan -4 over Siena ******
Canisuis +2.5 over St Peters....loved that game big time.Wrong team favored.Griffs have 2 huge post players in Spruill and Ferris.Peter has no frontline.Clark is 5'9 and their second best rebounder.But at practice the other day both Ferris and Spruill sprained their ankles and are not playing.So will pass .

box, don't know if you read it, mike deane's wagner behind by 20 vs albany, he changes to a triangle & 2, shuts down albany hot shooters, wagner wins by 10...

like davidson-7 to beat up on Iona today after facing the hall & duke, both otr...i also think i remember an earlier post of yours stating the gaels were in disarray this year?

also going early w/ old dominion-4 hosting the drexel dragons (my fav team nickname along w/ the fighting blue hens & the anteaters)...

caper,Mike is a great coach.I had 3 players that played for him when he was a juco coach in upstate NY.
But a friend of mine who officiates down there in NYC was telling me they want to hang Deane at Wagner.I guess they did a lot of free lancing lyr with Whittenberg and made the NCAA's.
Deane who everyone hated at Lamar gets the wagner job and changes their offense to motion and hi-low post.Then wagner loses their 1st 7 or 8 games i think.
That's Mike.I didn't hear about the tri-angle 2 and albany game.
He is a good coach.Crazy though.when I write my "book" Deane has almost a chapter in it.
I still wear his Siena t-shirt. Davidson is a pretty good pick.
Iona has big time internal problems.No chemistry what so ever.

ODU-Drexal..not sure.Bruiser has done a great job.I thought he was a terrible coach at UMass.Saw him speak once at a clinic with the Mass staff.Almost 50 coaches went up to get soda's in the back of the room as he was speaking.Terrible.But I stayed out of respect.

Niagara +5 over Johnnies
Purple is coming off a 5 pt win at Cent Conn the other nite.It was the power failure game.Had to to finished the next nite.Johnnies has dominated this series.Going 66-23.Lyr Johnnies won by 10.The 4 yrs before they won by 8,21,25 and 45.
But times change and you have the Johnnies going in one direction and Niagara having one of there best teams in yrs.
Johnnies today have moved Hill to the pt and Ingram to the 2.Reynolds and Stanley inside can cause Niagara some inside problems.Add Cuffe and you negate the one advantage the Purple have. Johnnies problem is scoring.And if you play them in a half court game you have the advantage.
Mendez and Reaves inside can play the Johnnies front line even.Cruz and Dardon are solid at the gd.Brooks can stick the jumper.I see this game being very close.It's the 1st time for the Purple ever to play at the Garden.Johnnies always schedule the Purple at Alumni hall.
This is a game Niagara has been waiting for all yr.Just maybe they pull an upset.Purple offense is ranked 4th in the nation.

Manhattan -2.5 over Siena
Lyr the jaspers went up to the Pepsie Arena and got beat by 4.Siena has lost 8 in a row.Their problem is defense.They can't stop anyone.There man/man gets broken down.Their zone is to passive.No Iowa had jumpshooting practice last week vs it.
Saints are in a shooting slump also.Haddix has been the biggest disappointment.He and jordan have been playing hurt.This time was tired playing 4 road games in 10 days and losing all of them.They did play Prov tough so the talent is still there.
Manhattan has won but not really playing well.There losses were to Cuse,Wichita and the 2 pt loss to Penn.
But Flores is still the stud.Holmes.Benton,and Mulligan can bd.Kono is there zone breaker and Minor and Wingate are weak pt gds.
Bobby G will have his boys ready tonite.They do play solid defense.

Tenn -4 at Mass...think Mass is in trouble today
Fairfield +6 over Michigan...Gai,Gai,and Gai
No Iowa -10.5 over Evansville...if they shoot like they did vs Siena they win this by 15.
Nevada -7 over San Jose St....Synder and co should dominate.They beat them lyr twice.Should win by double digits
Vandy -6.5 over TCU...road game,scares me.but TCU defense doesn't..
