Texas Tech (ML) 2 units to win 2.2. no doubt south florida is the better team. but how motivated are they going to be to play a 6-6 texas tech team after losing what was basically their super bowl against UCF? i think the red raiders are going to light up a suspect defense. until the UCF game, south florida had not faced a team in the top 50 in scoring offense. while texas tech may not be quite as explosive as UCF, they are the 26th-ranked team in the country in scoring offense. the tech defense will only need to make a few stops to get a win today.

the total (66) is really odd. i know it's going to be wet down there, but that number should be around 80. they are pretty much begging for you to bet the over. i can't pull the trigger, but i think the under is the right play.

san diego st (-7) 2 units. once again, the aztecs' run defense was very good this year, giving up 3.45 yards/carry. and i like teams with time to prepare for the option attack. on the other side of the ball, rashaad penny is pretty damn good, and army's defense gives up nearly 5 yards/carry. will army really be fired up to play this game after that win over navy? they already got their first bowl win in quite a while last year.

Under (45.5) 2 units. both teams are going to run the ball all day. let's go ahead and call the final score... 23-14.

I'll just assume tickets for this game are all $1. i'll also assume that i make that joke every year.

toledo (-6) 1 unit. ok, this one's pretty much a gut play. i feel like toledo is better this year and ap st isn't quite as good as last year. add that to some revenge for last year's camellia bowl, and i like toledo to pull away for a nice win.

I watched the last quarter of the the Texas Tech-USF game. It was my first bowl game experience of the year. It reminded me not to put any money on these game bar the over as the players do don't give two fucks!!

I'll wait till the big boys turn up. Zero pash rush, everybody just meandering along like it was a school yard pick up game. You just knew USF would score at least a FG with 90 seconds left as they had absolutely no pass rush and their LBs and secondary were not going to out themselves in harms way to stop the opposition. These games are such a crapshoot as you have no idea what team is going to turn up.
