too difficult to understand why. So Miss is in a tailspin after losing to So
Alabama (had 5 combined wins in last 2 seasons) and (snapped a 15 game
losing streak). Add to the fact HC Jay Hopson decided to jump off the
sinking ship and you have to be wondering what is going through these kids
minds. Bad enough your lives, practices, Covid and a slough of other
problems in 2020 and now the guy you looked up to decides to skip.......
Not sure what Louisiana Tech will bring to the game as its their first game
but LA Tech won 10 games last year and have 1,000 yard rusher Justin
Henderson back and have talent at WRs.......... Liberty HC Hugh Freeze
(former HC at Ole Miss) is being mentioned already at So Miss and he has
made it clear he wants the job. Be interesting to see how it plays out. Hell,
it was Jerry Falwell Jr who hired him in the first place, so alls fair.....
Texas St/ULM Over 61'.....10 u *Another game I'm very high on despite the ULM
poor showing against a good Army squad. Think this line is a bit low and I
expect both offenses to come alive in this one. Tex St just went to DBL OT
with UTSA dropping a 51-48 decision in what may have been the best
game of the week. Neither team plays much D....
Couple Others:
Cinci -33' over Austin Peay... 7 u
Duke -5' over BC & Under 52.....6 u
Clemson -43' over Citadel..... 7 u *Dabo will have a chance to play his bench
without losing eligibility, so expect the 2nd Team to pull far away.
MTSU +3'.......6 u
Appy St -4'........8 u
I'm considering a play on G Tech but think there may be more value in the 2nd Half. Reasoning is that UCF had some Covid concerns which disrupted camp and word was/is that UCF might not be in best shape physically....so I will be watching the 2nd Half to see if a live bet has value. Think it's possible the UCF players could be sucking air while GT looked good from start to finish in their upset of FSU...
