On a real nice run of three very profitable days in a row here going back to last Sunday at Monmouth. To be humbly honest the ponies have been profitable more days than not anyway since The Dawg's arrival
.
Today I'm looking over four tracks Arlington - Del Mar - Monmouth & Saratoga, but I'll be waiting for track conditions and scratches before posting for each track.
Those things can turn my rankings from a go bet into a no bet or make me re-arrange them all together b/c of a scratch.
As usual my betting plan will go as so:
Play the top two to Win
Use those two on top of the other runners for the $2 exacta
Box the top 3 for a $1 Trifecta. I think some places offers them things for 0.50?
If a race scheduled for the Turf is taken off that race becomes a pass.
I grade my results based on $2 Win & Exacta and $1 Tri's. It's just easier to keep track that way.
Me personally I play my win bets for a few more dollars than my exacta and the trifecta bets are for them ones that ring in at $500 plus/$1 played.
I don't play Super b/c per my record keeping shows long dry runs between super wins. However (And I love doing this) in yesterday's race 9 at Arlington when I had the 19/1 winner the three other runners below it filled those slots up so a Boxed Super of the top four runners there brought home a cool $1379 for $1.
Like I said in past post picking and choosing when and what bets to place for me anyway = bad longterm results. The Zig-Zagging effect I like to call it. i will play Super in Big Stakes races such as the Derby and the Breeders Cup. Sometimes those things bring life altering returns.
Anyway enough rattling!
