Can not put any of my cash on Kent. They have given up this season. Lost 6 of last 7, only win coming against lowly Buffalo. No chance of making dance unless they win tourney. Losing every possible way. Some real bad losses in that streak.

If you have some angle please share.

Good luck in whatever you decide.

complete saturday card for now:

3 units....kent state (-7) over ohio
3 uints....butler (-3) over detroit
2 units....uconn moneyline (+115) over boston college
2 units....michigan state (pk) over ohio state

really love kent state in this spot. everyone is "off the bandwagon" because theyve been a money burner for the most part this year. but this is prime spot to catch them when theyre undervalued. as much as i want to believe in the bobcats- history says they cannot put b2b solid efforts together on the road. and kent has had one FULL week to rest up, refocus, and look to atone for their pathetic performance vs akron last week. a few weeks ago, this line would have been 11 or 11.5. dont write the flashes off yet. they should dominate this game today.

normally dont get excited about chalks, but heres another one i really like. butler aint gonna be fu/cking around here. detroit is off a track meet game yesterday (whens the last time someone has seen detroit play a 98-84 game?) and now the titans have to come back 24 hours later and play an extremely disciplined butler team. the bulldogs were bounced from the conference tourney in the 1st round last year- and had to spend to whole offseason thinking about it because the selection committee passed them over for an at large bid to the dance. i just dont see butler losing. theyre senior-heavy, they know they gotta win the horizon tourney to remove any "doubt", and they catch detroit off a track meet game that could wear the titans down in the 2h today

Butler rolls!! OU is hot but you're right about Kent needing a break. They might be gearing up for the second season...

Gman,

You always have great picks, but I'm telling you, that UDM will win this game. They are playing extraordinarily well right now. Willie Green has emerged as the best player in the conference by far.

This Butler team has not been the same this year. They are going down today, despite the fact that they have been rested to this point in the tournament.

I like your other games, but I have the Titans as a possible big play for me.

Good luck!

Not to mention, public will be all over Butler. That line is screaming for Butler money. Just screaming for it.

one more:

1 unit....pepperdine (-2.5) over st.mary's

waves season would be a major disappointment if they get bounced this early in the wcc tourney. st.mary's the more disciplined team, but pepperdine is far more talented. for one night, i just feel talent will win out- and laying the short chalk here.

complete, final, no-more add-ons, ncaa card for saturday:

3 units.....kent state (-7) over ohio
3 units.....butler (-3) over detroit
2 units.....michigan state (pk) over ohio state
2 units.....uconn moneyline (+115) over boston college
1 unit.......oregon (+13.5) over arizona
1 unit.......pepperdine (-2.5) over st.marys
1 unit.......ucla (-5.5) over washington

i could be dead wrong on ucla- but i just feel the bruins rally around lavin one last time, and send guys like kapona out with a resounding win. bruins goin nowhere this year- but this game does have importance for them
