Have only taken a brief look at it but 2 horses I know I like: Scrimshaw in the Hutcheson at GP. I saw his race on Dec. 26 at Santa Anita and thought he beat a field that was tougher than what he faces tomorrow. At Oaklawn, a horse named Down and Out is coming back after running decently on a bad rail opening weekend.

Looking over Aqu and GP it looks like there will be a number of prohibitive favorites. If you can beat them you will make some money. Here are some of the low priced chalks I'm anticipating:

Aqu 4th: Hough entry 3-5: They obviously are the horses to beat but Polish Jewel has shown some seconditis tendencies and Polish Posh only has 1 win in 9 starts

GP 3rd--Region of Merit 4-5: has never run 2 turns. Until they prove they can do it, its tough to use a horse at low, low odds

GP 6th- Quick Draw 1-1: he will be very tough to beat although there are a number of 1st timers in here. Byrne and Mott would probably have the best chance to beat him.

GP 7th MB Sea 4-5: huge edge in numbers. Maybe people won't believe 2 of them because they were at Hoo but he faced tough horses in those races. I believe they are legit.

GP 10 Christine's Outlaw 6-5: same comment as Region of Merit. Has never gone 2 turns so a tough use at a real low price.

There's a matchup involving Scrimshaw at WSEX. Scrimshaw or Cajun Beat, either one to finish ahead of Lion Tamer. Scrimshaw and Cajun Beat at -140.

Thanks for pointing this out. I do have an account there. Scrimshaw and Cajun Point to beat Lion Tamer? Yeah, I think I'd take the -140.
