UConn -28.5 over Texas ***
Huskies playing in Albany which will be like a home game...Texas has had 3 seasons...started out 13-0,went 2-8 and now 9-2..lost top player in season 1...they play in a tougher conf then Conn..lost to Baylor 3 times by 9,2 and 17...Texas will start 2 bigs today but don't think that will work...Texas is not a 3 pt shooting team so they have to work the ball to score..meanwhile the Huskies are loaded with 3 pt shooters and attack the hoop 24-7.They are second in country in rebounding and have the best player in the country in Stewart at 6'4 who does everything...she avgs 17-7 bds...the other 4 are all solid..Tuck,Lewis,etc...if Texas goes with its big lineup they will not be able to stop the Huskies esp from shooting..if the bigs go out to challenge the Huskies
will drive to the hoop...just see a poor matchup on Texas defense vs Conn offense....hate laying 28 pts but once Geno's team starts pouring it on its hard to stop them..Stewart has won the MVP in the final 4 the past two years...she will get her 3rd....Texas hangs in there for awhile...just sometimes worried with a big lead and 6 minutes left Geno empties his bench...but his bench are almost as good as the Texas starters...
back later with the guys....we had snow this morning in NY...it will be in the high 70's in Austin...unreal
