Working early tomorrow so got these in tonight:
1)Navy(+28)
Navy averaging 23 pts/gm and the Irish averaging just 22...........very interesting numbers when offered a 4 TD dog. Irish have dominated this series, but twice in the last 5 years, have won by just 4 pts. With their bubble burst, this might be a much tougher game for Notre Dame than most people think.
2)Kentucky(+5)
Kentucky is a solid 6-3 squad and QB Lorenzen has a sparkling 20-3 TD-Int ratio. Wow!
LSU has never been a good team to play as a road favourite.....in fact they are just 1-2 on the road this year, scoring 8 and 7 points in the 2 losses.........and may be looking past this one to their huge home date with Alabama next week.
3)Akron(+4.5)
I like Akron QB Frye a lot more than either Jackson or Day for Ohio. In fact, I simply feel that Akron is the better team here and should win outright.
4)South Carolina(+5)
I feel that Holtz's S.C. squad is better than their 5-4 record would indicate, and don't think that they'll lose two in a row at home. Arkansas has been inconsistent all year...........they needed a blocked punt TD and an INT TD to beat Troy State 23-0 last week........and should not be a 5 point road favourite in this spot.
Will be back in the early/mid afternoon on Saturday with more,
Good luck,
Tiger
