Openers are up now so these are all gut plays based on watching all of these teams several times. No real 'capping here.

Ball St +9 (2 units)

Western Mich -4' (1 units)
** This play goes considerably up if that Bum Stainbrook is back for the Broncs. Guard Ward is a big question mark as well after hurting his foot against Ohio on Weds.

BG -4' ( 1 unit)

Youngstown St +4 ( 3 units)

Akron -5' ( 7 units)

Kent State -5' ( 3 units)

two team 4' teaser:

Akron-1
Kent St -1 ( 5 units)

2 team 4 pt teaser:

Ball st +13
Youngstown +8 ( 2 units)

Think that Akron and Kent represent good value over weaker West division opponents even though they are on the road. Akron always seems to get off to a slow start but they have tons more talent than the Chipps.

Any udpdate on W Mich players? GL

Not really.

Stainbrook has practiced the last two days but there has been no word yet addressing whether he will play. He has been in Hawkins dog house all season. he's a bit of a nut with a huge ego and a temper to match. I don't think he will start but he may get some minutes. Ward's problem is his knee , not the foot like I stated before. it is believed to be a sprain and he's been receiving treatment.
