cant be as thorough as id like with these reasons. just dont have enough time right now.
===========================================
loyola marymount (+13.5) over gonzaga (10:00 tip)
gonzaga playing their 5th straight game where theyre laying significant chalk. of course its likely theyll lay significant chalk the rest of the season in the wcc, especially at home, but this should be a very stiff test for the zags. lmu beat em outright on this court last year. after an up and down game against pepperdine on the road, this might be a game where gonzaga's key injuries finally play a role and they could struggle a bit. gonzaga a deeper than usual but still think those injuries show up at some pt
===========================================
depaul (+21.5) over cincinnati (8:00 tip)
depaul is one of the few teams in conf usa that can match cincys physical play and toughness. dont have a ton of fundamental reasons for backing depaul. just feel cincy is overpriced at this point. cats struggled a big with tulane. waves were back and forth down 7 and 9 until cincy pulled away late to cover that game. cincy has covered a ton of games in a row. this is a damn good cincy team - could be one of huggins better teams -- but i think this # is inflated
===========================================
buffalo (+7.5) over western michigan (1:00 tip)
i think bulls rally vs miami could provide a springboard for this one. buffalo got off to a terrible start vs the redhawks, trailed 50-30 at one point and then got to within 6. wmu a different type of team than miami, and theyre a team i think the bulls matchup much better with. broncos rallied in akron to win vs the zips last saturday. theyve been off since then. so they should be sharp. even at their sharpest, i think buffalo covers
===========================================
kent state 1h (-8) over ohio university (8:00 tip)
going back to something that has produced a lot of winners for me the last year or two. year in and year out it seems kent just runs away with games at home in the 1st 10:00 of the game during conference play. they struggled vs ball state last saturday. i dont think that will happen here. ohio is an extremely young team and that can be dangerous on the road. kent could throw an early knockout blow

johnny:

zags laying tons of points for the 5th game in a row. theyve been on cruise control for the last 2 or 3 weeks. havent even been tested. kinda think theres an overlay here. lmu upset them on this court last yr with a weaker team. i think they are capable of keeping this well w/in single digits

rex:

gut feeling is that detroit lays an ass kicking on em. detroit has probably one of the top 5 home court advantages in the nation. wright state is perennailly one of the worst road teams in the midwest. couple that with wright state coming off a rare road win last night in csu as well as the fact that detroits last home game was one of their worst home losses ever........could spell trouble for wright. but detroit not scoring a bunch of pts right now, so maybe wright sneaks inside the #. i think this is a rout though

have you quit rating games and do you no longer keep your record?

ezpickin:

the above plays are all for the same amount. playing a unit flat on games for the time being unless otherwise specified. after receiving some email from low life guys who want to trash me for losing some college bowl games late -- this being during a season where i was 66-50 and +24 units -- ive just come to the conclusion that if im gonna get bashed over a 66-50 and +24 season, then it confirms that nothing is to be gained from posting that kind of stuff. if someone is genuinely interested in that kind of information, they can grab my email from jack. ill let the work that i put in on a daily basis speak for itself. i do my best to contribute here. ill leave it to others to decide on their own if any of the stuff i post can help turn a profit. like i said, when im getting bashed for winning in college football, it just makes you throw your hands up and say "fu.ck it, ill let people draw their own conclusions from here on out". ill have good days. ill have terrible days. but in the end ill have more of the former and less of the latter.

gmarco:

cant say i have "opinions" on either of those games but i will offer these few things:

memphis
* clearly the superior team here. but laying road pts with a team that is below 60% on the year shooting FTs is tough. smiss is no prize, but memphis could keep em in the game simply by blowing opportunities at the line

green bay
*before the season, never would have expected this line. uwgb hasnt been a chalk in this series in a long time. already the 2nd meeting for these tms this year. butler playing like shit and uwgb is off to a great start in the horizon. these games are tough to cap. youve got a more talented team thats getting points but grossly underachieving up against a team that is playing great ball but probably playing above their normal capability right now. butler has burned me enough this year. thats a real tough gm. one thing i think that is worth noting is that outside of beating butler the first time, uwgb doesnt have a single quality win.

UC vs. Depaul

UC vs. Depaul

gman2 -

You could be right on this game. UC will be without the services of A. Kirkland due to a knee injury and it is unknown if & how much R. Whaley will play (he didn't make the trip to Tulane due to lack of effort in practice). In addition, this could be a good spot to catch the Bearcats looking ahead...thay travel to Marquette on Wed. The only thing that scares me is the fact that Huggins is not backing off when he has big leads, which doesn't leave much hope for the backdoor cover. GL.

EZpickins, Gman's record for the year is 43-54 down 15.2 units, but he will turn it around I have been following him for afew years. I try to keep track of the guys here since isuck and try to ride along with whomever is on a hot streak. If your new some guys to follow include Nickelback and Polo both really good players and there are a ton of other good ones. Best thing to do is follow about ten guys for a few days by writing down their plays and then see who is hot.

amazing that you dont get bored registering names. at least youre more subtle with your stalking. if you namedrop a few cappers, maybe jack will let you stay. i mean after all, youve only been registered for 2 days :D 43-54? i dont think ill be playing my 100th game until about february, lmao

Don't really see why the need for such a outburst, as I said before I usually just lurk here but believe me I have been at this site well before you ever arrived, I can go back to the days of Beantown Jim. Another peer simply asked what your record was and I supplied him with the answer based on the plays that were posted here, as I have a daily play list for about 20 guys here that I feel are superior handicappers, you should take that as a compliment that I consider you a superior handicapper.

i gotta give you credit this time around. when you registered your name 2 days ago, you learned from your past bashing mistakes. this time youve posted 8 times in one day in various forums within this site trying to "buddy up". around since before i arrived? you just registered on saturday. lmfao. not even sure why im bothering. youll hang yourself in enough time. tick. tock....
(at what point does it become just too time-consuming to continue to register names to post under?)

Well to not to split hairs with you but if you do a search of this forum and add up the plays that you have posted it does come to 43-54, I just made sure that I rechecked it (I can list them if you like). Possibly you are not factoring in your second half plays, but just do a search with your handle and I am sure that you will come up with the same result. Don't understand why the amount of days that I have been registered is a problem for you? As I said earlier I have followed your plays for a few years and I coattailed your plays last footbal lseason for a nice income.
