usc not exactly known for their lockdown defense, and coming back across the country after a trip out east this past week (to carolina and pennsylvania) unlikely to do much for their defensive motivation. byu is hardly a run and gun team, but usc defense should offer some good looks to the cougs, who have played against some slow-down teams the last couple times out. i dont think usc is as bad as theyve played early on this year, so i think if they can set their pace, we can see about 152-154 points. call it southern cal 79-73.
