been incredibly busy this week. tired as shit and just want to relax and kick it today -- thus, short writeups. will probably coattail some of the sharp guys in here because i havent looked into all the games like i normal would like.
toledo moneyline (+135) over kansas
played this one stronger than the fsu/ksu total
its freakin week two and this is already nut check time for this squad. for a team with the expectations they had (a fringe top 25 team) to be absolutely embarrassed by minnesota last week, if this program is as strong as i believe it is, then they bounce back and win this one. scoring is not going to be the issue for toledo, their offense will end up being one of the best in the entire country. but their defensive effort was a joke last week. ideally, id like to see them hold kansas under 25 points, but im still comfortable toledo can win a shootout.
fresno/kansas state under 47.5
the fresno game would have gone way under the number is washington had any clue how to take care of the football last sunday. bulldogs defense is solid and this one should be a field position game. fresno offense didnt do a whole lot in week 1. their defense generated all the points. bulldogs have a tendency to really grind out games vs. power conference schools, then open it up a little vs. in-conference foes. this one lands in the low 40s imo.
