well going with tua-260 for a good size play.

if he thinks he will ever get 1 more shot he damn well beat someone that has not fought any-one worth while in 4+ years.

this would blow all of tua's chance at even a title fight with butter bean if he goes down tonight to the 34 year old moorer. so this is a fight for his life tonight.

he has the power 35 ko's in 43 fights out weighs him by 20+ pounds as of weigh-in time and has 5 less years on his body so it's win or light's out for mr.tua. so i will back the fighter with more to gain ,the one thing that worries me is his heart, that could be a problem at times but if he does-not have it tonight he never will and will be banned to fri night fights on espn2 for life.

i hear ya` and i tend to lean the same way....i decided to make some money and not lay odds....took tua by k.o. at +150 and moorer by decision at +260...tua has never been stopped or down and i don`t believe he wins if it goes to the cards(was losing big time on all cards vs rahman and oquendo before putting the lights out).....moorer on the other hand is not the fighter he was prior to his first retirement....he won`t stop tua but has a chance on the cards(albeit a slim one)....trying to play it a little safe and make some of that gub`ment cheese without sweating the winner...g.l. as always.

anything`s possible...thank god no don king in sight...hopefully this set to shakes out fairly.....there`s a guy at another site says he knows a boxing writer or commentator or whatever and he says the guy swears moorer is a bag shot tonight.....says tua was seen drinking in a bar 2 weeks ago and moorer is extremely prepared.......take it for what it`s worth(this info and 50 cents will get you a cup of coffee)....i`m kinda glad i`m hedging here because tua has a tendency to skate until the later rounds.....moorer is almost 35 yrs old...he might want it,but,it just might not be there....fletch,i hope you like the browns tonight....bought the half down to 3....feel like i`m walking into a trap.

Just my 2 cents, going the OTHER WAY. Taking Moorer +260!!

Tua sucks! he has power but he cannot box. Please no slams! Just watch and see!!!! ;)

Garden....

Garden....

Heard the exact opposite, that Moorer hasn't looked good in camp and is simply fighting this one for the payday. I've never been too impressed with Tua though. Gotta agree with Fletch, it's do or die time for Tua. GLTA

First -- thanks to garden weaseal. His hedge made sense to me in this one, and I had 1 unit on Moorer by decision at +300, and 1 on tua by KO at even money, so the fight was a wash for me.

Second -- too bad for Moorer. I can't say I was disappointed in watching this fight, because sometimes you just like seeing a guy get his ass knocked out by POWER, but MM is a good guy. I really thought he'd be able to keep Tua at bay, move around, avoid the left, but I guess not.

My fight capping has really fallen off. Since I had Forrest over Mosley (in Feb) I don't recall hitting a fight. Of course, I've bet the dog in every big fight since, except Rahman vs. Holyfield and you know how that turned out. I think I'm really too turned on to dogs in fights (and I like Vargas in the upcoming fight too). I really spend all my time looking for reasons that the favorite can lose and convince myself I'm getting a good price.

I got to get back to basics.

congrats to all who won some dough saturday.

i had a bad run also, but, that doesn`t change the fact that you know your shit...some of these decisions have been whacked(both barrera-morales fights were judged bass ackwards and john ruiz will beat anybody out there as long as he keeps letting don king rob him blind).....boxing is a whole `nother breed of animal and you have to take many peripheral situations into account when wagering(like who is the promoter, whose camp has the most juice etc-and that sucks)....keep providing your insight and between the good cappers here,i think we`re gonna win more than we lose....looking forward to de la hoya-vargas.......and leaning slightly toward challenger daniel seda this weekend to beat smoke gainer(fighting in puerto rico-and seda`s puerto rican)gainer has a very suspect chin...not definite yet...more later when i see the odds...g.l.
