Long time lurker and this will be my first post of plays,so no record, but honestly, I'm struggling to reach .500 for the year. I mostly stick to mostly the BCS conference games, but without the PAC 10, I just can't seem to figure out that conference.
Here are my initial leans for this week.
Penn State -9 at home vs Wisconsin. The Badger's running game is pretty good and if Calhoun gets going, then they will have a chance to run clock and keep it under the number, but Wisky's problem is their defense. They gave up 500+ yards to Illinois and large points and yards to almost all the teams they have played thus far (except against NC). Wisky also has had some serious problems with running QB's and PSU QB Robinson likes to tuck and take off. Kinda a big number for two teams at the top of the Big 10 this late into the season, but I'm thinking "the man" wants a lot of action on Wisky but PSU covers the number.
Va Tech -4 1/2 at home vs Miami. The Canes offense will struggle to score against the VT defense. Miami's best chance is on special teams, but VT's special teams are equal or better that the Cane's. This game comes down to which QB makes the best plays and Marcus Vick makes plays with his legs and his arm.
Notre Dame -8 at home to Tennessee. Tennessee's offense is not going to be able to do much as long as their QB continues to struggle. Irish had a week to prep for USC and almost won the game. They've had a week off for the Vols and really didn't need it. Irish roll.
Auburn -22 1/2 at Kentucky. I know how most of us hate DD road favorites, but Kentucky has one win against a D-1 team all year. UK will struggle to score against Auburn, so a 28 -3 win is a distinct possibility.
I also like
Georgia Tech -8 vs Wake Forest Wake's 38 point win last week vs Duke makes this line smaller than it should be. Tech is strong against the run and Wake can only run.
Michigan State -5 at Purdue. Purdue has given up on the season.
Missouri +11 at Colorado. Brad Smith doesn't have two bad games in a row, just ask my beloved Huskers and CU has some injury problems and the Buffs have little depth.
Texas Tech -16 vs Texas A&M. if Iowa State was able to pass on the Aggies at A&M, what will TTech do to them? Plus Leech likes to blow teams out of the water, he won't call off the dogs.
comments anyone and BOL to all.
