Ballsy call on Magnum at 9/1- ran perfect down the backstretch with Pedroza standing on him. Said to myself, this guys got a shot until Martin sat down and Magnum thought the race was over. Good call though, he'll do better.
Thanks Dan. I figure Magnum finished second to Lava Man in the Santa Anita Handicap and now that Lava Man was spotting 9lbs he would have a great shot. I love Lava Man but I had to go with the value. Hopefully next time.
