I really like boston here for a few reasons. I know they have lost 5 straight now, but everyone has a slump at some point and this Atlanta team is the perfect chance for that slump to end. Those 5 losses were close games against some pretty tough offence (Ottawa, Pittsburgh x2, St. Louis and Carolina last night.) Boston is playing above .500 on the road and won 5-3 in Atlanta just a few weeks ago on Dec 12. I think Boston will be hungry today as they play their easiest opponent in a while and don't want to lose out on 2 easy points to the Thrashers. I know the playoffs are months away, but only 3 points seperate 5th place and 13th place in the Eastern Conference right now and I think Boston knows that they must take advantage of situations like these. This is great value in my opinion - better team, better goaltending, better powerplay, better PK. Atlanta has lost their last 2 games and are .500 at home. Boston is 0-6 playing on 0 days rest :scared but I'll still take my chances as that stat doesn't worry me - but I do believe it's partly to blame for the line being almost ass-backwards! :mj07:
