Seattle (Halama) @ San Diego (Loewer)

Well this Seattle team continues to be one of the most impressive in baseball they go into last night's game off of a doubleheader in the thin Colorado air and faced a very solid pitcher in Bobby Jones, you would think they would be tired and off of their game but they come away with a solid 8-4 win. Tonight they send John Halama to the mound, the Mariners are 5-0 on the road when he starts. The Seattle offense has been very solid on the road with a team batting average of .290 and an on base percentage of .410, the bullpen has been equally impressive with a 2.90 ERA.
San Diego counters by sending Loewer to the mound who has one start this year coincidently against this same Mariners team, he lasted 3 innings giving up 6 hits, 6 earned runs, 2 home runs, 2 walks and 1 strikeout with a 18.00 ERA. The San Diego offense has been equally unimpressive at home averaging 4 runs a game and batting .230 as a team.
