The key question in life is " when do you get off the train" when handicapping. I stayed on last night when UTSA beat and covered vs WKU > I have been saying for 2 years that Sincere McCormick is the best running back in the country ever since I saw him score a 56 yd td run on the 1st play of the UTSA-North Texas game at the Alomodome. Then saw him vs Tex State And last night think he ran for over 200 yds a few td's . A 5'6 200 pound fullback with with running back mentality See's the open holes has a little wind shield wiper step and he's gone.
So Today Incarnate who I think has the best qb in the country in Cameran Ward and has broken record after record and I needed a Incarnate parent to ask me " you don't know our qb" at the Texas St game where fans behind me are laughing at Incarnate Who,is it a prison school ," etc.
So Ward who throws for 500 yds and 4 or 5 touchdowns every a game is+13.5 today vs Sam Houston in the 1st round of the FCS playoffs. But wait They are playing Sam Houston the defending national champions who last year blew out Incarnate. They have a qb Schmid who has maybe a better of an arm then Cameron and is mobile and can rush. Plus Sam has a defense that has a few possible NFL stars and Jeffferson at Rb and wr Ezzard .. I watched last yrs championship game vs South Dak St last year.
With the line at Sam -13.5 there is a reason plus Sam beat Incarnate last year and Schmid had 300-400 yds a few td's etc.
So the question is do I get off my Incarnate train and take Sam today Incarnate is not a prison school but a catholic school playing football in San Antonio only a few miles down the road from UTSA campus. Have no idea what I am going to do. My heart says take the + points and back Incarnate. My brains says take Sam offense and they will destroy Incarnate defense. Not sure what I am going to do ?
