Starting with the game everyone knows I'll be on:

Arizona ML -165 over Stanford

A homer play no doubt but I'll bite on a line that has come down all the way from six where Vegas released it. . . road team has won the last six games in this rivalry so when will it stop?

Stanford has won the last three games at McKale yet Arizona has a record of 225-18 at home under Lute. The overwhelming odds say it will end tonight. I've obviously been to and watched several Arizona games. . . something that surprised me a little was to see Arizona pull most of their starters around the middle of the second half against Cal and every single player was icing their knees on the bench (something I did not see a lot in the past when Arizona was blowing teams away). Wonder what they were getting ready for? Why the rush? Did they have a big game coming up?

Again, I know this team quite well and they haven't looked any better than they have their past two games. . . especially turnover margin. After the holiday meltdown, I posted that it will be interesting to see the value Arizona receives when they begin Pac 10 play and we have seen the line move several points against the Cats when playing Arizona State and California which both turned into huge blowouts early. Now we see the line has moved against Arizona once again. Its probably not a good idea to go agaisnt line movements all the time but this to me looks like another good spot.

I'll be back soon with other plays that aren't homer picks!

Add Michigan State under 33.5 team total 2nd half above average

MSU had a hot start and then went cold the rest of the way showing their true colors. . . Spartans are in foul trouble as well. Shot well over 50% from the floor but again, that was due to the early hot start but only finished with 31 points. Can't see them getting another 30 the 2nd half.

No I don't Master. . . I don't see any value in taking the points. . . but since I am an Arizona homer, I don't want to sit here and watch Arizona win by only 1 point yet I lose my wager! I don't think it will happen but the ML is the best value for me. To anyone else, I'd say lay the 3 points.

I'll take that half point win on Michigan State! They had to hit a 3 with under a minute left to make it interesting

Miami/Pitt under 69.5 2nd half average

Both teams hitting well over 50% from the field yet only put up 70 in the first half. At least one team should struggle a little in the 2nd half. Only reason this isn't an above average or big play is the game is close and could go to OT but lets hope not.

Well, that's what I get for opening my mouth. . . game was under after the first overtime, then Miami hit a 3 to send it to a 2nd OT and kill the 2nd half under. Just glad I didn't pound it.

Anyways, moving on:

Vandy +9 and Saint Louis +7 both average plays

Both lines have come down a little despite playing against higher ranked teams.

Not a lot of lines that I really like today. . . just can't see pushing anything when there isn't anything that I really want to hit.
