I've been terribly inconsistent in college football, but just spent a lot of time capping games for Saturday... I'll try to post most of my plays and give write ups when I have time. Playing a couple games early as I expect these lines to move against me.

Tennessee Pick vs. Arkansas - I was surprised when I saw this line was a pick'em... sure McFadden had a monster game vs. South Carolina & Vols rush defense is nothing special. However, Arkansas is still a one dimensional team & Ainge is far superior to weak counterpart Dick @ QB. Fullmer supposively has job on the line and I like the Vols to win this game @ home. Vols are 5-0 SU and 4-0-1 ATS @ home this season. I'll be surprised if they lose tomorrow.

Tennessee Pick for 5*

Kansas State -6.5 (-120) @ Nebraska - Huskers did look solid offensively last week. However, the Black Skirts gave up 76 points and 11 TD's to Kansas!!! The scene @ Memorial Stadium won't be pretty as Callahan is a dead man walking. Nebraska has also self destructed offensively as they're -14 in turnover margin. Wildcats are +6 in turnover margin and I would guess Nebraska has a couple more turnovers than Kansas State. Freeman should have a big game as Nebraska has just 10 sacks this season. Nelson should run wild on a weak secondary for Nebraska as he's one of the better WR's in the country statistically. Ganz is a decent QB, but he's still mistake prone and Kansas State has a decent pass rush to force him into miscues. One concern is Kansas State doesn't have the running game to fully exploit the weak rush defense of Nebraska, but they should get over 200 yards rushing IMO.

Kansas State -6.5 (-120) for 8*

Va Tech -6.5 vs. Florida State - I know Bowden has the Seminoles playing great football, but I was very impressed with Va Tech's Glennon @ Ga Tech. He looks like a different QB late in the season. The Hokies also appear far superior to the early season version that got crushed by LSU and had some other bad games against East Carolina, Ohio, & North Carolina. Hokies are also the more rested team and should prevail by at least 7 points IMO.

Va. Tech -6.5 for 3*

Iowa State +4 vs. Colorado - After watching both these teams last week, I would make the Cyclones favored in this spot. Iowa State beat Kansas State, outgained Missouri, and nearly knocked off OU in the past 3 weeks. Colorado just got spanked @ home by Missouri and will have a difficult time winning in Ames. Cyclones have good fans as well and they're behind this team and should win SU, but I'll take the generous points.

Iowa State +4 for 3*

Texas Tech +7 (-120) @ Texas - After watching Texas play the past 3 weeks, I have come to realize this is NOT a good team. They did show a lot of heart rallying for a win @ Oklahoma State, but their defense is nothing special. Also, if you blitz McCoy, he makes big mistakes as his 16 INT's will indicate. Anytime you take Texas Tech on the road, it's scary... however, Texas has barely snuck by their past 2 opponents and I think they might get upset this Saturday.

Texas Tech +7 (-120) for 8*

Will add more plays tomorrow.

Adding one more before I go to bed.

Missouri -19 vs. Texas A&M - Aggies have really looked awful the past couple weeks. Missouri's passing game is clicking right now and Missouri is also 9-2-1 ATS their last 12 home games. Texas A&M has already lost by 28 points @ Lubbock and 28 @ Norman this season. They also had the horrid road loss @ Miami. Kansas should have beat the Aggies worse at College Station and Texas A&M is 1-3 ATS on the road this season with the one cover being @ Nebraska when the Huskers started firing people. Aggies are also just 3-6 ATS this season overall... if you shut down their running game, they can't score (Just look what Kansas did to them!) Missouri should do the same tomorrow & I expect another monster game from Chase Daniel as Maclin, Rucker, and Coffman all have huge days against a weak A&M secondary.

Missouri -19 for 8*

Monk is a huge addition to the Arky offense. He will play on Sundays and my thinking is that Arky will be able to throw some the rest of the way.

BTW, I thought I played too many games based on the usual tight lines this time of year, but you blow me away. GL with all of 'em.
