my season of runs continues... on a bad one now, so here are 10 plays for your fading pleasure...
syracuse (+3) 1 unit. yeah, the orange aren't very good and they can't throw the kind of pressure at you that louisville can, and that seems to be when georgetown struggles the most. in fact, georgetown should win this game fairly easily. hey, i never claimed to be smart.
georgeown/syracuse under (135.5) 1 unit. georgetown has gone under in 7 straight games. the closest they've come to the total is 7 points during that stretch.
lsu (+2.5) 1 unit. it's playing games like these 2 why i have losing streaks. lsu has covered 4 straight games.
northeastern (-3) 2 units. huskies have won and covered 5 straight.
louisville (-5.5) 1 unit. cards are on a roll.
vanderbilt (-6) 2 units. the gators are as streaky as i am. they covered 7 straight games, now they've lost 4 straight ATS. some revenge for the commodores after their 22-point drubbing at florida.
purdue (-8) 1 unit. not a great spot for the boilermakers, after big wins over wisconsin and michigan state, with indiana on deck. but they've covered 10 of their last 11, so why not? northwestern is 0-5 ATS at home in conference, losing by an average of 15 points.
baylor (-2.5) 3 units. damn, this line is quickly going up. texas coming off their big win over kansas and they have texas a&m coming up on monday night. augustine is really struggling his last 5, making 19 of 74 shots (6 of 27 from beyond the arc). maybe i should have jumped off this baylor bandwagon a few weeks ago, but i still believe in the bears. this is a huge game for them.
st johns (+2.5) 2 units. really? wow, the johnnies are so awful, yet i can't get away from them. they'd probably be a .500 team at the D3 level. but this is strictly an anti-villanova play. the last time the wildcats covered as a favorite was 12/9. that's right, over 2 months ago. i hope this game's not on tv, because i can't stomach watching another st johns game.
cal santa barbara (-9.5) 1 unit. ok, i play the gauchos once each year, and the time has come. uc davis has lost 7 straight games, and only one of those was by less than 11 points.
